About Martin Vanzyl Osteopath
Martin vanZyl qualified as an osteopath nearly 36 years ago and has maintained a keen sense of adding to his knowledge about how the mind and body works both with humans and with animals. Post qualification he set up practice as a registered osteopath and member of the general council and register of osteopaths in 1988, (from the then British School of Osteopathy). He then went on in 1989 -90 to qualify in veterinary Osteopathy with Anthony Pusey and he worked with many Equine practitioners worldwide. He has lectured in Animal Osteopathy in UK, New Zealand and USA, and is apprenticed to a Native American/Shamanic tribe based in Arizona, that aids him in his connections especially with the animal world.
In addition to helping Humans, Martin is also an expert in providing help to animals as well!
Martin specialises in the connection between rider and horse and always looks at the relationship between animal and human, and how that connection can be expanded.His extensive love of animals, allowed him to work for the Cinnamon Trust, fostering dogs that would otherwise be lost.
Treatment involves osteopathic techniques (both cranial and mechanical), to bring the animal or human back into balance
